    Entre dos socios del Club,estamos organizando un viaje a Mongolia para el verano del 2009.

    El viaje consiste en una ruta de 21 dias, saliendo y llegando a Ulaanbaatar, capital de Mongolia. Las motos nos las alquilan alli y son unas KTM 600.

    Habria guia local e interprete en castellano. Un vehiculo UAZ 452 como apoyo y un Toyota 100 para el porte de nuestro equipaje.

    La ruta pasa por taiga, tundra, montaña (3.000 m) y por el desierto del Gobi.

    Las plazas son limitadas a 6 motos.

    El que este interesado en mas detalles no tiene mas que preguntar.

    After After breakfast riding to Elsen tasarhai sand dunes.
    Between Ulaanbaatar and Kharkhorin lies this red rocky mountain (1967m) and 46,500 hectare natural reserve. It is a perfect place for walking and horse riding and good for spotting ibex, wolves and many varieties of hawk. The ruins of Uvgun monastery are hidden in one of its numerous valleys in the southern slope. The monastery was destroyed by by the armies of Zungar Galdan Bochigtu, a rival of Zanabazar in 1640. The current monastery was reopened in 1992 and includes a number of interesting, beautifully decorated temples in this tranquil setting which look out across the plains. Also worth exploring are the Mongol Els sand dunes that stretch southward from the mountain.Your overnight in a camp.

Visiting to the Erdenzuu monastery, surrounded by 108 stupas (Buddhist monunument), has been a place of Buddhist activity for more than 400 years. The temples are richly decorated with spectacular Buddhas as well as tankas and sculptures.

    Joaquin si te sirve de consuelo yo tampoco se nada de ingles. El texto al castellano lo traduje a traves de internet. La verdad es que no me acuerdo ahora mismo como lo hice pero fue así.

    El texto describe la ruta, los lugares a visitar y lo que podemos encontrarnos en el camino.

    En cuanto al tema del dormir, decirte que hotel, lo que se dice hotel, solo habra los dias que estemos en la capital. El resto se duerme en tiendas de campaña y yurtas “acondicionadas”.

    Date cuente que en Mongolia no hay absolutamente ninguna infraestructura preparada para el turismo, a no ser que estemos en la capital.

    Precisamente el motivo de llevar dos vehículos de apoyo es ese. Ellos se encargarian de preparar y desmontar los campamentos que vayamos usando, aprovisionarnos de agua, gasolina y comida.
